
CHAIR – Rachel has a wealth of experience in management consulting, investment banking and private equity. She holds NED and Trustee positions in the housing and international development sectors, plus an MBA in Finance from the USA’s Wharton Business School. She also gained a Chartered Institute of Management (CIMA) qualification whilst living overseas in Azerbaijan.

SHAREHOLDER REPRESENTATIVE – Aman established Major Housing Association as one of the first for-profit registered providers of Social Housing in the UK. His 20+ years’ experience includes managing 700 private sector properties, let by local authorities. Since starting Major Housing, Aman focuses on creating public & private sector partnerships to maximise provision of affordable housing, and partnerships with community organisations to deliver growth and community assets alongside new housing units.

Independent Director – David has a background of corporate land acquisition in the volume house building sector and over 20 years’ experience in residential-led property development and investment. He has assembled and managed private sector development projects from 50 to 1000+ residential units, and worked with private and corporate equity investor partners to undertake direct investments and joint ventures in both planning promotion and project delivery.

David’s career is a testament to his prowess in the international investment and development arena, where he has orchestrated the raising of an impressive £250 million in equity and £750 million for innovative property ventures. At SARE Homes, as CFO and MD, he spearheaded the growth of the startup into a major player, delivering over 3,500 homes. His expertise is backed by prestigious credentials: a Business and Finance Professional CFA (ICAEW), South African Chartered Accountant, and an affiliate member of RIBA. David’s journey blends financial mastery with visionary leadership, making a significant impact on global property development.

Ian has built a distinguished career at the forefront of property policy, shaping the standards and direction of the UK’s residential sector. As Senior Policy and Business Adviser at The Property Institute, he plays a key role in guiding industry practice and also chairs the ANUK Student Accommodation Codes Tribunal.
Over more than two decades as Director of Policy at the British Property Federation, Ian influenced major reforms in housing and development — from helping establish the Build-to-Rent sector through the Montague Review to securing vital protections for client money. A Fellow of both The Property Institute and the RSA, with early roots in banking and economics, Ian brings rare depth and insight to his field. In 2025, he was named Residential Property Personality of the Year by Property Week.

Manpreet Dillon is a highly experienced housing executive with over 30 years’ experience across affordable housing, asset management, property services, customer experience and regulatory compliance. He has held senior leadership and board roles with organisations including Sage Homes (Blackstone), Legal & General, Grainger, Orbit, Shelter, Hightown Homes and Catalyst Housing, as well as earlier regulatory experience with the Housing Corporation and Audit Commission. Manpreet brings particular expertise in for-profit registered providers, housing operations, asset management, governance and compliance, supporting Major Housing Association’s continued growth and delivery of high-quality affordable homes.

David Done OBE is Chief Executive Officer of Major Housing Association and one of the UK housing sector’s most experienced and respected leaders. He is the founder and former Chief Executive of RHP, which he led for almost 23 years, transforming it into a nationally recognised, award-winning housing association, overseeing the growth and management of more than 11,000 homes and establishing a reputation for outstanding governance, financial strength, innovation, and customer service.
During his tenure, David consistently achieved the highest regulatory ratings, maintained an industry-leading S&P credit rating, and led sector-defining digital and service transformation. Alongside his executive career, he has held multiple Chair, Board, and strategic advisory roles across housing, regeneration, and technology.
